Technical Program
Symposium Theme
The overall theme of the Level Crossing 2006 Symposium will be "Partners in Safety" reflecting the advances in highway / railway crossing technology and operations. Three sub-themes encompassing 24 potential sessions cover the range of interest in the field:
- Accomplishments and Challenges
- Human Performance
- Future Vision
The Technical Program will consist of both oral and poster presentations and invited lectures. The Technical Program will also include technical tours.
Official Languages
The official languages of the Symposium are English and French. Abstracts, papers and presentations may be made in either Canadian official languages. Simultaneous interpretation services will be provided in both French and English. The accepted abstracts and papers will be published in the Symposium Proceedings in the language received.
